I honestly cannot find fault with this foundation! I purchased it two weeks ago after realising that I am now so pale (have not tanned in over a year) that none of my other foundations match my skin properly because they were a shade too dark. I had seen many overseas bloggers rave about this Revlon Colorstay foundation so I decided to investigate it a bit more. While reading reviews on Pinterest, I was amazed at the amount of people who said it was a dupe for Estee Lauder’s Double Wear. I have never tried the Double Wear foundation, and decided that if this one was a dupe, then it couldn’t be too bad.
I purchased the Revlon Colorstay foundation for normal/dry skin (you can also purchase it for combination/oily skin) because my face is pretty dry in winter, and I got it in 003 Nude – which is the lightest foundation shade I have ever used.
Reasons why I love this foundation include:
- Easy application
- Has a matt finish (I don’t have to use a primer, powder or setting spray with it)
- Doesn’t streak
- Doesn’t feel heavy or greasy
- Doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin
- Lasts all day and doesn’t need to be touched up (bottle says it will last 24 hours)
- Medium coverage
- SPF 20
I was lucky enough to get this foundation on special the day I bought it, so I managed to save R60 on the regular price and only paid R239. I am really happy with this foundation and the results I have experienced and would definitely repurchase it.
