Pucci Scarfie 1

scarfie app

Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci has launched its first mobile app, Scarfie, dedicated to spotlighting the brand’s hallmark accessory, the printed silk scarf, in a playful and creative way.

The Emilio Pucci Scarfie app allows fans to snap selfies and personalise them with signature Pucci scarves styled in a variety of ways on their head, neck or wrist. The resulting “scarfies” can then be used liberally as the backdrop on your cell phone or you can upload it on social platforms or send it to Pucci to be curated and published on their digital platforms, including the brand’s new Tumblr page.

Emilio Pucci, pioneers of print, are entering the digital arena in an interactive way and leveraging off social media trends like the selfie craze, to connect with their audience while offering aspirational consumers the chance to see what a scarf will look like before it buying online.

The app will also appeal to consumers who want to share their love for the brand through photos by effectively utilising the mobile channel and visiting the Emilio Pucci site.

Unfortunately the app is only currently available for iOS. But don’t fret Android users, your version will be available soon. They app will also be available in another language soon.

I’ve just downloaded the app and can’t wait to try it out!
