Two weeks have flown by, and my pale legs are now looking beautifully bronzed again thanks to Tan Lab’s Gradual Tan! After the first two days of using the product, I could already see my tan developing which was very exciting.
The Tan Lab’s Gradual Tan (R250) was easy to apply at home, didn’t smell funny (I expected all tanning products to), didn’t leave any streak marks on my legs, and left my skin looking naturally tanned (2 people saw my legs in the last to weeks and complimented me on managing to keep my holiday tan). The great thing about using the Gradual Tan product is that I got to choose how dark I wanted my tan to be, based on how often I applied the product. To test this out, I applied Gradual Tan to my legs every day for the first 7 days, and then for 4 days out of 7 during the second week.
TIP: After applying the gradual tan, make sure you wash your hands immediately, and don’t put any clothing on until you are sure the product has dried on your skin.
It’s very important to keep your skin hydrated while using tanning products, especially during winter when your skin is more prone to dryness. The first time that I used the Hydrating Lotion (R140), I didn’t realise that it had light reflecting particles in it. When I looked at my legs during the day and saw a shimmer on them and I assumed that I had simply messed eyeshadow while applying my make-up that morning. That evening I climbed into the bath and noticed that my full legs were shimmery, so I took a closer look at the info on the bottle and realised it was the lotion that had left them looking so pretty. This hydrating lotion is ideal for adding a faint shimmer to your skin during summer when you want to show off your bronzed glow!
The Tan Lab’s products are formulated with some pretty amazing eco certified ingredients, such as spirulina (micro-algae extract that is responsible for moisturising and conditioning skin), shea butter (rich source of antioxidants), and glycerin (which helps increase the amount of water in the skin’s surface layers), and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all.
If you are looking for a sunless tanning product to help transform your pale skin, I would definitely recommend The Tan Lab’s sunless tanning products which you can purchase online or from one of their stockists. The Tan Lab does not test on animals, and their products are vegan friendly.
Thank you again to The Tan Lab for sending me these products to try out.
