New York Fashion Week’s Autumn/Winter ’16 show took place in February and TRESemmé was the official hair care sponsor. I have always wanted to attend NYFW and the one designer whose show I’d give my eye teeth to attend and experience is Diane Von Furstenberg. Diane is world renowned for her wrap dress – a symbol of independence and power – that she launched in the early 70s.

Diane’s Fall/Winter line this year was clearly inspired by the 70s because the disco spirit permeated the collection. Added to that, during the show everyone danced and sang We are family.
