Last year I did a post on the faux invisibobbles that I managed to find in a market in Vietnam. They were so unbelievably cheap and when I priced them online last year, they were R90 for a pack of 3. I have since seen some online stores put them on special for R64 which isn’t too bad for 3. If you are still a little uncertain about these spiral hairbands, the good news is that Cosmic Options now stocks them for R15 for a pack of 5. These little ones aren’t as sturdy as the ones I got in Vietnam, but they still do the trick in keeping my topknot in place, without damaging my hair or getting it tangled. I’ve only seen them once on a Cosmic Options display, so you may need to visit a few stockists. If you haven’t yet experienced the ease at which these hairbands keep your hair in place, I suggest you head out and get some to try out.
