carmex 2

Winter is here which means chapped lips that crack and are sore. I am not a fan of winter. I. Hate. It.

I am, however, a fan of products that leave my lips feeling like a million bucks in winter.

My love affair with Carmex began when I was standing in the line at Dischem (yes in that dreaded temptation aisle) and saw the little Carmex lip balm pot hanging among the other lip balms. I decided to try out the Cherry flavour as I wasn’t sure what the Classic one would smell like. When I got to the car I quickly opened the packaging and tried some (as one does when you buy an exciting new product) and loved the smell and texture.

Carmex lip balm has quickly become part of my evening routine. I apply it at night before I get into bed and wake up every morning with soft lips that don’t crack when I yawn. Winter 0 – Tanya 1.

I later decided to try out the Classic Carmex lip balm and instantly became addicted to its smell, texture and how my lips felt after I’d applied it! I’m not sure if everyone would like the smell of the Classic one but I’m mad about it. The Classic one contains the likes of camphor, candelilla wax, aloe butter, menthol, shea butter, vitamin E. If you don’t think you would like the Classic one then I would recommend getting the Cherry one.

Carmex will definitely be at my side throughout winter.
