Skin perfection

I have to say, while browsing the cosmetics section in Clicks one evening, it was hard not to notice this new range from L’Oréal with its metallic pink packaging. On the promotional stand there were open products which was a genius idea, because I was able to test some of the Correcting Day Moisturiser on my hand to see if I liked the smell and texture. (I wish all drugstore brands had tester products!) I decided to only buy the Correcting Day Moisturiser before purchasing the rest of the range, because I wanted to see how my skin would react to it.

Skin perfection 2

Well, a little over a month later, I am making sure I scrape every last bit out of this jar! My skin has simply loved this day moisturiser and soaks it up as soon as I’ve applied it in the morning – my skin has honestly never looked better! I often struggle with imperfections, which seriously knocks my self confidence, because my skin is sensitive and prone to breakouts when I’m stressed or when it’s that time of the month. This moisturiser has done a fantastic job of tightening my pores and leaving my skin feeling silky and smooth. It has never felt sticky or greasy after applying the moisturiser, which is a huge plus especially now that summer is on its way.

In the Skin Perfection range there 3 products:

  • Advanced Correcting Serum which can be used in the morning and evening, with or without the Correcting Day Moisturiser (targets pores, tone, and texture)
  • Correcting Day Moisturiser which must be applied in the mornings after cleansing, and after you’ve applied the serum (targets pores, tone, and texture)
  • Anti-Fatigue Correcting Eye Cream  which must be massaged around the eye contours from the inner corners to the outer corners (targets dark circles, eye bags, and fine lines)

All three of these retail for about R124.95 each. I am definitely going to invest in another jar of the moisturiser, as well as try out the other two products in the range.
